Fayette-cetera for May 3 2008

Funny - when I drew this strip, the weather in May was great. Several days were pretty warm, in fact. Being Missouri raised and all, I knew that we could really jump right through spring-like weather into summer-like weather...so I thought it would be nice to show the characters in different modes of nice/warm spring days. Little did I know that one short week later, the weather would change so rapidly, that folks were worried about their outdoor plants and newly planted vegetables!! We're riding Mother Natures weather roller-coaster, and a lot of people don't like it - up and down and up and down, goes the temperature. It's very cold and windy on this Mother's Day - perhaps some of you Moms out there will find some "warmth" in this (or the following) comic entries!
