Toons and me

- My interest in reading and producing comics began at a very early age, and I'm not sure why. Back then, the Mickey Mouse and Popeye cartoons really caught my eye, when I was 5 or so. "Peanuts" became my world beginning at the age of 6, and I could draw most of the Charlie Brown gang before the age of 8 - first I traced the Sunday page, and soon I was able to draw them free style. The flicker was lit, and my desire to draw cartoons has never subsided. Also, I had a lot of siblings running around, and one of my favorite places to get away from it all was the comics. I could go into my own little world and visit my "friends" whenever I wanted. Back then, it was mostly "Peanuts", but soon I broadened my comic horizon to "Pogo", "B.C", "Dennis the Menace", and always made sure I read the daily comics - especially the wonderful colorful Sunday editions.

This is darn cute. Your work is much better than some of the syndicate strips. Keep up the excellent work
Thanks, Anony! Of course, it's always good to receive comments of any kind, but the best comments are the ones that make you feel like "it's all worth it - someone out there likes it!"
