I also wanted to include, "If I have to stop this car...", but ran out of room. If you have any of your own, go ahead and make a comment - I'd love to read 'em.

Dear Si[er-Fantastic Cartoonist,
Loved your Mother's Day tribute. I look forward to what you will create, especially for Mother's Day. I just loved your idea of "sayings". We all remember what "Moms" typically say. I thought back to what my mom used to say and came up with the two that stick out in my mind the most. They are as follows: "As long as you are living under my roof you will do as I say" and the other was "If everyone was jumping off of a bridge, would you have to do that too?" Of course, she was referring to my constant, " Gee Mom, everybody else gets to do that-why can't I?"
So thanks again for reminding us "that our mother's voice will always be heard in our heart."
I find it interesting that a lot of us can actually say we heard much of the same "comments" from our Mom over the years - almost like there was a book called "Comments to Your Kids" that all Moms read at one time.
Your comment is much appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to share, and for reading "Fayette-cetera".
