Perhaps I should make a resolution that there will be NO joking about the Head Cartoonist within the strip itself!

- My interest in reading and producing comics began at a very early age, and I'm not sure why. Back then, the Mickey Mouse and Popeye cartoons really caught my eye, when I was 5 or so. "Peanuts" became my world beginning at the age of 6, and I could draw most of the Charlie Brown gang before the age of 8 - first I traced the Sunday page, and soon I was able to draw them free style. The flicker was lit, and my desire to draw cartoons has never subsided. Also, I had a lot of siblings running around, and one of my favorite places to get away from it all was the comics. I could go into my own little world and visit my "friends" whenever I wanted. Back then, it was mostly "Peanuts", but soon I broadened my comic horizon to "Pogo", "B.C", "Dennis the Menace", and always made sure I read the daily comics - especially the wonderful colorful Sunday editions.

Dear Head Cartoonist,
Hahahaha! Smiles and smiles! You just keep getting not only funnier, but much more creative too. This and last week's comics are prime examples of this. Looking forward to lots more laughs come 2011, because we all need any reason we can have to laugh more.
